If you get hungry while you’re out catching the after-Thanksgiving sales this Saturday (Nov. 30, 2013), check out a bake sale going on from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. to benefit victims of the recent floods in Austin.
Austin Bakes for Austin is a group of Austin bloggers, foodies, and businesses volunteering time and baked goods to raise funds for the Austin Disaster Relief Network. ADRN is a Christian organization that provides disaster relief to those in need in times of a disaster. They are among the many organizations working with people affected by the recent floods in Austin.
Austin Bakes has previously conducted bake sales for victims of Japan tsunami, the Central Texas Wildlife Fund, and West, Texas.
You can learn more about the bake sale hours and locations at austinbakes.com/about/. We’ll be picking up our baked goods at Crema in South Austin.
