You Won’t Believe What Happens Next!

Byte of Texas Conference(Yeah, I hate those headlines, too, but I just couldn’t resist.) Several exciting events are headed this way really, really soon.

Byte of Texas
The Byte of Texas conference is finally here! Sponsored by the Austin Food Blogger Alliance, this conference is the place to be if you are a food blogger, if you are a blogger, or if you eat food.

The conference starts Saturday and runs through Sunday, Sept. 27-28, 2014. Rumor has it that there will be fudge at one of the presentations on Sunday. I wonder which one?

Tickets for the conference are still available, but get them quick! You can buy day passes if you can’t make the full weekend.

Chocolate-Making Workshop
Next up, I’m attending a Chocolate-Making workshop at Wheatsville Co-op on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2014. The folks from bean to bar craft chocolate maker SRSLY Chocolate will demonstrate how cacao is transformed into chocolate. (Naturally, there will be chocolate tasting involved.)

Tickets are $35, but only a few are left, so if you’re interested, sign up now!

BlogathonATX
If you’re an Austin blogger, you should make plans to attend BlogathonATX on Oct. 25, 2014. BlogathonATX is an annual day-long event that explores blogging, collaboration, and tech support.

Unfortunately, I’ve already got family-related plans for that weekend, but if I didn’t, my butt would be at this conference. It’s going to be awesome!

What a great way to start the fall! If you know of any other awesome food- or blog-related events, leave the info in the comment section. Hope to see you at a few of these events soon!
